THE WICK:
Before each burn, trim the wick to ¼ of an inch using a wick trimmer for a safe, even burn, and increased candle life. Before each burn remove debris and buildup to avoid excess smoke. Keep the wick centered in the container.
BURNING:
When you burn, allow the candle wax to melt to the edges of the glass every time to prevent tunneling. This is especially important during your first burn!
SAFETY FIRST:
Never leave a lit candle unattended, and don’t burn your candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time. Protect the surface below your candle from heat by placing your candle on a coaster. Do not burn your candle if there is less than ½ inch of wax remaining in the glass. Burning a candle without enough wax can overheat the jar.
I gave this as a gift and just heard from her. She says that her home now smells simply wonderful. She is ever so happy and P.S. I also gave her each of the other candles available and she states that it's impossible to choose a favorite as they all smell so wonderful.
